The Best Sony PlayStation Emulator

I know that there are many in the web now a days emulators was being use as of this moment they can be downloaded in some websites and retrogames out there to pick. Honestly enough I don't have the guts to promote most of them and I will only show some of the consoles and games that I purchased.

The best emulator for the PlayStation during the moment I am writing this is the Xebra which made by DrHell. you can research google for that and from what I remember there is an android version of this emulator available in google play store. Why I technically believe this is the best due to the function of this emulator. Unlike the other PlayStation Emulator this one has the PocketStation compatibility. Now, what is this PocketStation? PocketStation was the PlayStation VMU. Just like the Sega Dreamcast's VMU. It comes out before Sega Dreamcast released in the US market but after the Sega released it in the Japan.

But because the application is in Japanese here are some tips how to do it...

Download it from DrHell's website. Extract the zip file and you can also have the PK201 which is the PocketStation. In case you don't understand where are the following. http://drhell.web.fc2.com/ps1/index.html and http://drhell.web.fc2.com/pocket/index.html is for PK201.

First, download Xebra all of the files are located below there are links by clicking the picture of sample window interface same goes with PK201. Put all the files that you will get from PK201 where you put the Xebra application. You need to rip the Kernel ROM image and the Flash ROM image from the real PocketStation and rename them as KROM and FROM from the same folder.

Run your PK201 click Run then Run/Pause. PK201 will exactly emulate how PocketStation works. Press "K" for the enter button. "WSAD" for the directional button. So press "K" twice. Afterwards you can easily set up the clock by clicking Run then Misc then Date & Time then Local Time.

After doing that click File then Save STAT. Click Run the Run/Pause before closing the application.

From here you can Run your Xebra. Click Run then Outer Card so that it will use the PK201 to the memory card slot 1. Click File then Open CD ROM Image if you are using cdimage file format PlayStation game. Click Run the Power(1).  It will run and in the upper left you'll see the tiny LCD screen is there loaded from the STAT file. Closing Xebra is the same you need to click Run then Pause before hitting the close button.
