How to run Final Fantasy VIII using Xebra and PK201 for the Chocobo World

Now what I have here is how to run the latest XEBRA PS Emulator with PK201.
First of all, you need to read my previous post with regards to how to install XEBRA and PK201 in the Microsoft Windows operating system.
As you follow that instruction. What you need to do is this.
You need to be at least in Disc 2 of Final Fantasy VIII, after being able to control the Balamb Garden and go to the Continent of Centra. You need to be right where the map shows you to...
Now go to and that chicobo in that place it is the easiest one if you want to know where that is asked GameFAQs.
But if you wanted to modify your PK201 ID so that you can have the best chicobo in this game do the following.
Download a hex editor and you need to hex edit the "STAT" file.
Just look for the hex-value "C9 00 00 41". The ID is written backward. It is 410000C9. 41 is a text means "A". C9 is a decimal means 201. that's why it is A00000201.
41 = A
00 = 00
00 = 00
C9 = 201
Why there are 5 zeros? Because after the text there an automatic 0 after the text and before the decimal. Now all you need to do is change C9 to D3. Save it afterward.
Go run your XEBRA and don't forget to run the outer card. After succeeding to have a chicobo go to the save menu and there the PK201 was in slot 1 and be mindful that you need 7 blocks empty so that you can download the Chocobo World in the PK201. Send Boko to the world and there you have it.
Open PK201 and load the STAT before running the emulator so that you can continue playing Chocobo World.
When using PK201 don't forget to save it also by saving the STAT File before hitting the pause and close.
***Additional notes on February 20, 2020. Dr. Hell released a new version of PK201 to fix some certain bugs.
The one I posted only works for the PK201 version 160120. If it is your first time doing it on version 200220, you should not delete the 160120 and do what I said above.
The only difference is this after running the PK201 version 160120 save STAT, pause then close, copy the following file...
1) STAT
2) FROM
Extract your PK201_200220.ZIP into the XEBRA folder.
Open your PK201 version 200220, Load STATS, save STATS, pause then close.
Open XEBRA, load your Final Fantasy VIII, run the outer card, run the game and do the normal way of playing the game.
Always remember that you should be in the Chocobo World game before accessing the PocketStation menu of Final Fantasy VIII.
